ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1. The cut off date for deciding the maximum permissible age and experience as per eligibility criteria
shall be the last day of the month subsequent to the month in which the advertisement is issued that is
30/09/12. Experience shown must be the minimum relevant experience for the function
adequately supported by proof, after obtaining necessary qualification  including ‘On the Job’ training period.
2. Wherever specific relevant experience has been prescribed, please note that applications not
fulfilling this specific criteria will not be considered.
3. The cut- off percentage in qualifying examination would be 65 % in Engineering Discipline
and First class for MBA(Finance) for General Category and 40 % for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

online applications, online receipt will be generated which has to be downloaded
by the candidate. The candidates are required to send the acknowledgement slip
with affixed photograph along with Xerox copy of educational (from
matriculation onwards)/experience /caste certificate, copy of challan to ,

New Delhi : The Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (C TET) for appointing teachers for classes I to VIII.

Online Submission of application through CBSE website www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in

1. Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
• OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
• OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
• OR
• Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

2. Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage

• Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
• OR
• Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
• OR
• Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
• OR
• Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
• OR
